The back shows this was assembled in China and the face of the clock, on the bottom, shows Garfield 1978 United Feature Syndicate Inc. I then let the clock run for awhile and it does work. The minute and hour hand move as it should and the tail that acts like a pendulum swings back and fourth as it should along with the eyes at the top.

This is New old Stock never used, no scratches, no dirt works great, is hard to get the tail on while hanging it, you need to hold the tail until the clock is straight up and down then release it, I’m not sure if there was a thing piece of plastic in the tail to help hold it on or not, looks like the could have been, once it is hanging the tail is fine while it moves as seen in photos. I’m listing it as used because I’m not sure about the tail piece having something missing, I have read others post and they seem to tape the tail to secure it, I didn’t have that problem at all testing it. First picture of him was cropped and background removed, which also made his tail look indented, it is not you can tell from the other picture it is a smooth line tail.
